Powerful photographs (assignment 9)
This picture was taken in 1970 after Brazil won England 0-1 in FIFA World Cup group stage match which was host in Mexico. Pele and England's captain Bobby Moore trade jerseys after the match as a sign of mutual respect a World Cup that has been marred by racism. Both their emotions look happy even though Bobby Moore lost the match but Pele came to comfort him and exchange jerseys. Seems like they have little chat going on which is respect between opponent players. The cameraman took this picture at the right time and angle because they are both facing and talking to each other at that time. Landscape in this picture is on the pitch they played the match on. Like you see in the background there are other cameramen taking pictures of other people and players of the match after the match.
