Road Trip (assingment 8)
I currently live in New Orleans, Los Angeles and I thought why not surprise my grandma who lives in Nashville, Tennessee for her 80th Birthday by a car with my good friend. My car is currently Audi A8 which is a pretty cool and smooth car to drive on. The road trip there would be nice. I searched up that it takes approximately 24-26 hours by car but it also depends on how many stops you are going to take during the trip. I thought why not have some fun during the trip so I searched up some fun places to stop by while going there. After driving for like 4-5 hours I was near Southern California which was on the way and there was Disneyland, very fun place to visit.
After all the fun we had there we went to eat by the nearby fast food restaurant which was KFC. They had really good fried chicken there. After that, we took a nap a few hours nap inside the car and the next morning we started to drive again towards our destination. It was around 15 hours since we left Los Angeles. We were getting near to Oklahoma City. I heard there are very nice places to visit so we stopped there and decided to stay there for a while. We saw Oklahoma City National Memorial place, victims, survivors, rescuers, and all who were affected by the Oklahoma City Bombing on April 19, 1995. After that, we went to a Museum which was the Museum of Art. There we so many beautiful pictures and statues. We really enjoyed that place. Weather was very warm and sunny which really made the day better staying there. People, there were very polite and helpful, for example giving some directions to places that we didn't know. There we found a very good looking food place called Oklahoma Grill. We ate some tasty delicious beef with fries. It was very good and we got our stomach full.
After driving for 24 hours we got near our destination. We were very tired and we struggled a little bit with the house where my grandma lived but in the end after half-hour searching, with the help of google map, we managed to find it. I saw my grandma through the window. We ringed the bell and I surprised her with the cake we made and a nice new watch I bought her. She was really happy and blessed that we came from that long trip. That was the road trip it was very exciting and cool. I would like to do it again:
